Assignment 4 Advertising Illustration

Students will create an image that shows a product of their choice in a way that tells us more about the product. Seamless paper should NOT be used as a background!!
You should create an environment that you would see the product in. Try to create lighting that would indicate a time of day that the product would be used, and of course reinforce the mood that you are trying to give your product, as in the photograph above. You should be able to clearly read the product name. You must use a minimum of 2 props in your photo. This can assignment can be done with people or as a tabletop. You must have a product name or identifiable logo highlighted somewhere in your image. You must shoot your product with the props in the studio. The background may be shot in studio or on location. The 2 shots should be then composited together.Pay attention the direction of light in each image to make sure that they fit together if one is supposed to work as the background. You can also approach this in the way that the Dolce Gabbana shot above is done with the product shot incorporated onto the mood shot of the model. The third way that you can approach this assignment is to shoot the background with the subject and the props at the same time. Make sure that all of the elements in your photograph are well lit.
This assignment is due on April 25th
